Do You Hear That?

I had many pets growing up. It was always so hard when one of them died and always swore that I never wanted another pet because I coulnd't stand the pain. Of course I always got another one.

Before I started this painting I contemplated what animal afterlife was all about. What if our animals had guardian angels and heard voices from them? If so, this is how it all shakes down.
